How NDIS Sessions Work

Every session starts with a conversation about what is causing the most stress or difficulty. Together we decide which space to focus on and how to approach it. You stay in control of every decision — what stays, what goes and how things are organised. Kiah adapts her pace and approach to suit your needs, energy and comfort level on the day.

What is Included

Kiah provides hands-on, non-judgemental support to sort, simplify and organise your home. Sessions can focus on any space — bedrooms, kitchens, living areas, wardrobes or storage.

Items are sorted together. Donation and removal of unwanted items is handled for you, reducing stress and making it easier to let go. Storage and layout are tailored to your routines, abilities and how you actually use the space.

A support worker or family member is welcome to be present. Sessions are flexible and can be booked as a one-off or as regular ongoing support within your NDIS plan.

After Your Session

After a session, everyday tasks become easier. Belongings have a place. Spaces feel calmer. For many participants, the difference shows up in reduced stress, clearer routines and a greater sense of control at home.
Sessions can continue on a regular basis as part of your NDIS plan, tackling one area at a time at whatever pace works for you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to clean before Kiah comes?

No. You do not need to clean or make the space look better before your session. Kiah is there to help with the real space as it is.

Will Kiah make me throw things away?

No. You stay in control of what stays and what goes. Kiah helps you make decisions, but she will not pressure you to get rid of things you are not ready to let go of.

Is this the same as cleaning?

No. Decluttering and home organising are different from cleaning. The focus is on sorting, simplifying, organising and creating systems that make the space easier to use.

What areas do you service?

Kiah works with clients across Fremantle, Perth and surrounding suburbs. If you are unsure whether your area is covered, please get in touch.

Can I book just one room or one wardrobe?

Yes. Many clients start with one wardrobe, cupboard, pantry or room. Starting small is often the easiest way to build momentum.

Do you offer gift vouchers?

Yes. Gift vouchers are available for decluttering, home organising, wardrobe resets and Feng Shui consultations.

How does NDIS funding work for these services?

Decluttering and home organising can be funded under Capacity Building or Core Supports for eligible NDIS participants. Sessions are delivered respectfully and at the participant's pace. Detailed quotes are provided for support coordinators on request.

Can a support worker or family member be present?

Yes. Sessions can include a support worker, family member or carer if that helps the participant feel comfortable and engaged. Kiah is patient, non-judgemental and works at whatever pace suits the day.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does NDIS funding work for these services?

Decluttering and home-organising support can be funded under Capacity Building (Improved Daily Living) or Core Supports for eligible participants, because the work builds practical, transferable skills for managing your home. I work with self-managed and plan-managed participants and provide detailed quotes that support coordinators and plan managers can use. If you're unsure how it fits your plan, get in touch and I'll talk it through.

Are you a registered NDIS provider?

I work with self-managed and plan-managed participants rather than agency- or NDIA-managed plans. Self and plan management give you the freedom to choose your own providers and work with me directly, without my needing to be NDIA-registered. I'm a qualified support worker (Certificate III in Individual Support – Disability), so you're in experienced, capable hands.

Can a support worker, carer or family member be present?

Of course. Sessions can include a support worker, carer or family member if that helps you feel comfortable, safe and engaged — many participants prefer it. I work patiently and without judgement, and I'm happy to take direction from your support team on how best to support you on the day.

How do you adapt sessions to different needs?

I tailor every session to you. I pace the work around your energy, comfort and any physical, sensory, neurological or psychosocial needs, with plenty of breaks and no pressure to decide before you're ready. Whether you find decisions tiring, get overwhelmed easily, or need things broken into very small steps, we go at a rhythm that works for you.

What can an NDIS session cover?

Any space in your home — bedrooms, kitchens, living areas, wardrobes, bathrooms or storage. We sort, declutter and organise together, then set up safe, functional layouts that make daily life easier and reduce hazards like clutter on the floor. The focus is always on systems you can keep using independently after I've gone.

Can sessions be ongoing?

Yes. You can book a one-off session or regular ongoing support within your plan, tackling one area at a time at whatever pace suits you. Ongoing sessions work well for maintaining systems, building habits and steadily working through a whole home without it ever feeling overwhelming.

What areas do you cover?

I support participants across Perth, Fremantle and the surrounding suburbs, travelling up to around 40 km from the CBD from my base in Hamilton Hill. If you're not sure whether your area is covered, just get in touch and I'll let you know — I'm always happy to check.
